My professional teaching experience has provided me with rich opportunities to work with students from very diverse backgrounds. I’ve taught a number of children who were learning English as an additional language, as well as students with learning differences. Collaborating with educators from all over the globe, I've gained insights into multiple practices and structures that have strengthened my teaching craft. Now that I have returned home to Michigan and I am about to complete Michigan State University's Master of Arts in Education graduate program, I look forward to combining my experience and newly gained knowledge to make a difference with young learners in the surrounding Detroit area.
